About The Position

The Clinic Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of an assigned clinic area, coordinating resident and student operational needs and clinical activities with clinical and administrative staff. The role works collaboratively with management and dental assistant teams across the division and department to support efficient daily operations of clinical and laboratory areas while accounting for broader departmental needs. The coordinator supports patient, staff, faculty, and resident scheduling; clinic policies and procedures; inventory, budgets, supplies, equipment, and training. The position also orients students, residents, and faculty to clinical policies and practices, including aseptic technique and proper care of operatories, instruments, and equipment. Depending on clinic needs, the role may supervise clinical and administrative staff, conduct performance reviews, make didactic presentations, and perform dental assistant duties. U.M. FDSP Associates is a nonprofit affiliate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry that provides staffing for patient-care clinic operations.
