About The Position

Passport Health is looking for a Clinic Coordinator to join our Colorado team and play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience and keeping our clinic running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in Medical Assisting, healthcare administration, medical reception, patient coordination, or customer service who enjoys working with people and wants to build experience in a specialized healthcare environment. Medical Assistant experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person on Passport Health's systems, processes, and travel medicine services. In this role, you'll work closely with nurses and providers while supporting patients throughout their visit. You'll have a mix of patient interaction, administrative responsibilities, and clinic operations, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be an important part of the clinic team.

  • Other applicable clinical training or credentials
  • Medical Assistant experience is preferred, but it is not required.
  • Clinical experience is a plus, but it is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional experience from check-in through checkout.
  • Schedule appointments and help coordinate patient flow throughout the day.
  • Answer patient questions and provide clear information about appointments, required documentation, and next steps.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for patients receiving travel medicine, immunization, and immigration services.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and maintain accurate patient information.
  • Collect, scan, and maintain patient documentation in electronic systems.
  • Prepare charts and documentation for provider visits.
  • Process invoices and patient payments.
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Support nurses, providers, and other clinic team members with day-to-day administrative needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete assigned administrative tasks.
  • Maintain clinic supplies and help ensure the clinic is properly stocked and prepared for patients.
  • Receive shipments and assist with inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment.
  • Help support efficient daily clinic operations.
  • Assist with other clinic needs as assigned
