About The Position

As a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in United Rentals’ Power/HVAC division, you will perform jobsite installations and minor equipment repairs safely and professionally. You will operate a delivery vehicle and install HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations. The role also involves equipment maintenance, condition reporting, customer demonstrations, and loading and unloading equipment. Associates may have the opportunity to progress to higher-level Technician roles. This position is designated Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of tools applicable to the position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after use.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Safely operate the delivery vehicle and install HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
