About The Position

As a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate within United Rentals’ Power/HVAC division, you will perform jobsite equipment installations and minor repairs safely and professionally. The role includes safely operating a delivery vehicle and installing HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations. You will have opportunities to develop your skills and potentially progress to higher-level Technician roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of tools applicable to the position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after use.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle and install HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
