About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is seeking a customer-service-oriented Client Support Associate to help create exceptional client experiences and provide essential office support. The associate engages with clients, confirms and manages appointments, follows up with past and potential clients, and helps keep clients engaged during wait times. The role also supports local marketing and community outreach, including visiting shops, events, and community locations to build brand awareness and recruit talent. This is a seasonal position; full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling options. Compensation is $15.00–$16.50 per hour. PTIN certification is listed as required.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a customer-focused role.
• Ability to obtain PTIN certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with leads and appointments.
• Make outbound calls to prior-year clients.
• Contact and convert online and virtual students.
• Coordinate and manage client appointments to optimize scheduling timelines and traffic flow.
• Support local marketing and community outreach events, including distributing marketing materials and visiting community locations.
• Generate referrals from existing clients.
• Assist with client check-in and office traffic management.
• Follow up with prospects and unfinished returns.
• Engage clients and keep them engaged during wait times.
• Enhance peak-season operations to maximize workplace productivity.
• Use local market knowledge and social media skills to expand outreach and build a talent pipeline.
• Recruit new talent and drive brand awareness in the local community.
