The Client Services Case Manager is responsible for all areas of Client Services, including Energy Share, financial management and budgeting with clients, and the Senior Commodities Supplemental Food Program. This role assists families and individuals by making appropriate referrals to internal and community resources. The position involves supporting the agency's mission, goals, and values, participating in strategic planning, and assisting the Program Director with fiscal constraints. The Case Manager identifies and addresses professional and organizational issues, maintains confidentiality, and serves as a liaison between departments and external agencies. Responsibilities include preparing reports, attending meetings and training, participating in committees, and traveling for agency business. The role also involves managing program inventory, securing equipment and supplies, monitoring volunteers and clients, and pursuing professional growth. Duties include picking up and delivering items, interviewing clients, completing paperwork, submitting applications, and utilizing program software for client tracking. A significant part of the role involves assisting with Self-Sufficiency Case Management, providing personal financial counseling, and supporting programs like Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Representative Payee Program, Veteran Program, food distribution, and apartment management. The position requires answering incoming calls and assisting with the distribution of the Supplemental Commodity Food Program.
