Client Service Representative (PART TIME- CSR)

About The Position

VCA All Pets is a two-doctor veterinary practice providing preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client service. The hospital also offers doggy daycare. The Client Service Representative is the face of the practice and helps build and maintain client trust while supporting doctors and technicians and creating a positive experience for pets and their families. The role includes client-facing service, administrative work, facility upkeep, and cross-training as a dog daycare attendant. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Saturday, with a combination of morning and evening shifts for up to 20–25 hours per week. Flexibility is required based on hospital needs. The anticipated pay range is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.

Requirements

Experienced and personable; able to provide strong client service.
Flexibility to work according to hospital needs.
Ability to work a combination of morning and evening shifts, Monday through Saturday, for up to 20–25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and pets to exam rooms.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Make outbound follow-up calls and contact prospective clients.
Present and explain fees and process payments.
Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
Answer questions about products and services and educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
Keep the facility neat and clean inside and outside, including removing animal waste.
Cross-train as a dog daycare attendant, supervising play areas and maintaining the daycare and daycare yard.
