At VCA Premier Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, we’re looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) who goes above and beyond to make every client and patient feel cared for, valued, and supported. We’re a six-doctor hospital that has proudly served the North Austin community for nearly 20 years. Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (veterinary/medical preferred, not required)
- A genuine love for people and pets
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced or emotional environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort with computers and learning new systems
- Flexibility to work weekends
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and ensure a smooth, stress-free visit from check-in to checkout
- Answer phones with confidence and empathy while scheduling and confirming appointments
- Clearly explain services, recommendations, and fees so clients feel informed and comfortable
- Accurately process payments, maintain records, and manage communications
- Educate pet owners on services, products, and preventative care
- Follow up with clients and connect with prospective pet parents in a proactive, caring way
