About The Position

Glengate, a leader in high-end residential landscaping serving clients throughout Connecticut and New York, is seeking a Client Representative for Property Care. Property Care Managers are the primary company contact for their clients, overseeing properties to ensure agreements and projects are completed to the client’s satisfaction and proposing creative ways to enhance those properties. This role combines landscape management, project coordination, client service, administration, and enhancement sales, with an assigned sales goal. The position is primarily place-based, with some potential to work from home. It is not a Monday-through-Friday, 9:00 AM-to-5:00 PM job: work schedules and hours fluctuate depending on weather, client availability, and crew scheduling, and Saturdays are occasionally required. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners while maintaining client relationships and continuing to develop knowledge of horticulture, project management, and industry standards.

  • Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Ability to execute tasks professionally and excellently, especially under pressure.
  • Effective knowledge of landscape potential to sell required enhancements.

  • Confident customer-service orientation and professional demeanor.
  • Competence in fact-finding, planning, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to balance landscape management with enhancement sales.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.

  • Safeguard and maintain successful client relationships.
  • Complete administrative duties efficiently, accurately, and on time, including becoming a master user of the company’s software.
  • Balance maintenance management responsibilities, sales work, and timely client communications.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge relevant to horticulture, project management, and industry standards.
