About The Position

Lovet Pet Health Care is hiring a part-time Client Relations Specialist (Front Desk Receptionist) for its growing animal hospital. The specialist is often the first and last person clients encounter, helping create positive impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. The role involves welcoming clients and patients, answering questions, maintaining patient records, processing payments, retrieving prescriptions, assisting with pet supply and grooming purchases, and keeping the lobby clean and orderly. The listed salary is $18–$21 per hour.

Requirements

• Comfort interacting calmly and compassionately with furry, fuzzy, feathered, and scaly animals.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Basic office skills, including typing, filing, and professional phone etiquette.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and clients warmly and provide a calm, compassionate, and reassuring presence.
• Answer clients’ questions and refer them to another team member when needed.
• Update patient records.
• Collect and process payments.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist clients with pet supply and grooming purchases.
• Keep the front lobby clean, neat, and orderly.
