About The Position

Lovet Pet Health Care is hiring a part-time Client Relations Specialist (Front Desk Receptionist) for its growing animal hospital. The specialist is often the first and last person clients see and helps create positive impressions while building trust and loyalty with patients. The role involves welcoming clients and animals, providing calm and compassionate assistance, handling routine front-desk and payment tasks, and keeping the lobby orderly. The listed pay range is $18–$21 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Basic office skills, including typing, filing, and professional phone etiquette.
• Comfort interacting calmly and compassionately with furry, fuzzy, feathered, and scaly animals.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and clients warmly and maintain a calm, compassionate, and reassuring demeanor.
• Answer client questions or refer them to another team member when appropriate.
• Update patient records.
• Collect and process payments.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist clients with pet supply and grooming purchases.
• Keep the front lobby clean, neat, and orderly.
