About The Position

Juniper is seeking a Client Relations Manager to serve as the liaison between Juniper and its clients. This role involves setting and managing client expectations to ensure their landscaping needs are met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing existing client business and securing new clients, building strong relationships, and overseeing all client interactions, particularly with decision-makers regarding deadlines, pricing, and follow-up. This position requires clear communication of scope changes, deadlines, and expectations, even after a contract is ongoing, to maintain a "DM to DM" level of interaction. The role also includes gathering accurate information for estimates, turning over contracted work to operations with detailed plans and budgets, and ensuring operations understands client expectations. Weekly reporting on sales, forecasting market demand, and providing positive feedback to internal sales support are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

Sense of urgency: Must respond to client calls or emails daily, providing follow-up to acknowledge requests and indicate work is in progress. Zero tolerance for lack of availability or follow-up.
Over-communication both internally and externally.
Clear understanding of your market & client: Ability to accurately report on market and client business status, including forecasted growth or drop off, service failures, and areas for improvement.
Strong networking ability: Must be an active member of relevant organizations to promote Juniper’s brand and secure new opportunities.
Conduct or sponsor training events for CAM’s and board members.
Attending after hours events put on by organizations or potential clients.
Knowledgeable in the following scopes: Horticulture, Pest & Fertilization, Arbor work, etc.
High Level of proficiency with Office Products, presentation preparation & generating client-catered marketing materials.

Nice To Haves

Strong established reputation in the industry is a plus.
Certified CEU instructor is a plus.
Any and all licenses and qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Growing existing client’s business as well as securing new clients.
Setting & managing expectations with our clients.
Building strong, favorable relationships with our clients.
Overseeing all interactions with clients’ decision makers or “DM” pertaining to deadlines, pricing & follow up at the “DM” level.
Communicating all pertinent info including but not limited to changes in scope, deadlines, and expectations to the “DM” even after the landscape project/maintenance contract is ongoing.
Gathering accurate information for estimating including all job information and deadlines.
Turning over contracted work to operations, with accurate plans, proposals, contracts, budgets & schedules.
Communicating with operations to ensure they have client contacts and fully understand the expectations set with the client for every new project.
Reporting on potential and secured sales weekly.
Creating forecasts for your market to help Juniper better plan for fluctuations in demand.
