About The Position

Retail Insight takes data and turns it into action. We’re looking for a Client Project Manager to join Retail Insight, embedded directly within Kroger’s Store Support Office in Cincinnati. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll act as the on-the-ground operational lead for one of our biggest clients. You’ll sit at the heart of the partnership; bringing structure, pace, and accountability to ensure initiatives move from strategy through to real-world execution. You’ll be the key link between Retail Insight and Kroger which means owning delivery, driving alignment, and making sure commitments on both sides are met. And when needed, you’ll be out in stores, validating that what’s being delivered actually works in practice.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, client-facing operations, or retail programme delivery
  • A positive track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and tracking skills; including familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ClickUp
  • Confident communicator comfortable working with executives and store teams
  • Self-starter who can operate independently in an embedded client environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in grocery retail (waste, availability, inventory, or store ops)
  • Previous experience working with or alongside Kroger
  • Exposure to SaaS or analytics programme delivery

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects across Waste and On-Shelf Availability programmes
  • Maintain clear project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Spot risks early and proactively resolve blockers
  • Lead weekly status reviews and ensure actions are tracked and completed
  • Own meeting cadence, setting agendas, facilitating sessions, and driving outcomes
  • Work closely with Kroger stakeholders to keep priorities aligned
  • Coordinate internal teams ahead of key client engagements
  • Act as Retail Insight’s dedicated on-site representative (up to 5 days per week)
  • Build strong relationships with Kroger teams and decision-makers
  • Manage client-side dependencies to keep delivery on track
  • Visit stores regularly to validate programme execution
  • Assess adoption, compliance, and results at store level
  • Turn observations into clear insights and actionable improvements
  • Create clear, executive-ready updates for both Kroger and internal stakeholders
  • Support quarterly business reviews and programme reporting
  • Maintain visibility of performance, risks, and key milestones
