Client Intake Specialist

Brighter Day LawNashville, TN
Onsite

About The Position

At Brighter Day Law, we help families navigate some of the most difficult transitions of their lives — divorce, custody, and estate planning — with preparation, integrity, and steady guidance. We are looking for a Client Intake Specialist in our Nashville office who brings genuine empathy, clear communication, and the discipline to follow a proven system consistently. This is not a traditional sales role. The people who call us are often in crisis. Your job is to be the calm, clear voice that meets them where they are, helps them understand their options, and guides them toward a confident next step. If you have done emotionally demanding work where people depended on you to stay steady while they couldn't, this role was designed for you. You will work alongside a collaborative legal team in a structured, coaching-oriented environment where expectations are clear, feedback is direct and respectful, and strong performance is recognized and rewarded. We invest in our people through active coaching, defined career metrics, and a merit-based bonus structure tied to outcomes you can directly influence.

Requirements

  • Emotional intelligence that holds up under pressure
  • The discipline to follow a proven system and the judgment to know when to escalate
  • Genuine comfort on camera and over the phone — this role is heavily virtual
  • Clean, precise written communication for documentation and follow-up
  • Coachability — not tolerance of feedback, but appetite for it
  • Comfort with technology: CRM, video conferencing, digital document execution

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish fluency is a meaningful advantage in this role and is warmly welcomed, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound leads and guide prospective clients through the intake and consultation process
  • Qualify prospects and route them to the right consultation type based on their situation and readiness
  • Prepare thorough attorney briefings before each consultation and support the call alongside the attorney
  • Handle the retainer conversation confidently and clearly after the attorney closes the legal discussion
  • Document every interaction completely and accurately in our CRM (GoHighLevel)
  • Follow up consistently on deferred decisions, no-shows, and open pipeline items
  • Identify estate planning opportunities for family law clients and route them appropriately
  • Contribute to weekly performance reviews and actively engage with coaching

Benefits

  • $50,000 base salary plus structured monthly performance bonuses
  • Health insurance and 401(k) matching
  • In-office role in Nashville with a supportive, close-knit team
  • A coaching culture where your growth is taken seriously
  • Clear performance expectations with generous rewards for exceeding them
