About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Client Intake Specialist to join our Law Firm. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking legal assistance related to nursing home abuse. This position is ideal for someone with call center or customer service experience, or a recent Law graduate with Customer Service experience interested in gaining experience in a law firm environment.

Requirements

  • Strong phone-based customer support skills
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion when handling sensitive situations
  • Professional, patient, and courteous communication style
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills
  • Experience in a call center or customer service environment preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent listening and information-gathering abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to input information while speaking on the phone

Nice To Haves

  • Recent Law graduate with Customer Service experience interested in gaining experience in a law firm environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions
  • Identifying client needs and determining how the firm may assist
  • Following up with potential clients to confirm receipt and completion of sign-up paperwork
  • Assisting with the client onboarding process, including collecting necessary information and initiating sign-ups
  • Entering and managing case details in a user-friendly case management system
  • Handling inbound and outbound communication with potential clients via phone and email
  • Providing professional, empathetic support to callers, often family members of victims of nursing home abuse
