Client Growth Director- Behavioral Health RCM

Assembly Health
$125,000 - $150,000Remote

About The Position

We are looking for a Client Growth Director to join our Behavioral Health RCM division. As Client Growth Director, you will own the full sales cycle for Assembly Health's RCM solutions within the addiction treatment space — from prospecting through close. You'll sell to the owners, executives, and operators of addiction treatment centers. Your job is to understand their world, earn their trust, and show them how stronger revenue cycle operations let them keep their doors open and their focus on patients. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sale. Success depends as much on empathy and credibility as on pipeline discipline. The strongest candidates have sold into behavioral health and have spent time working with, or inside, a treatment facility — so they speak the language of the people they're selling to, not at them. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in behavioral health, with RCM experience a plus, with a documented track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Deep empathy and relatability. You connect genuinely with people whose lives have been touched by addiction, and you build trust without pretense.
  • A consultative, solution-oriented selling style and the ability to translate complex RCM concepts into plain, operator-friendly language.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and comfort presenting to owners and executives.
  • Self-directed and disciplined — able to thrive in a fully remote role.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience working in some form of addiction treatment operations at a facility (e.g., admissions, business office, billing, operations, or clinical support) is preferred. You understand how these centers actually run, and the challenges they face.
  • If your own story connects you to this work, you'll be especially effective here, and you'll be joining a team that values that lived experience. Above all, we're looking for someone who leads with humility, listens first, and treats every client relationship as a partnership in service of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a pipeline of addiction treatment centers, from initial outreach through signed contract and successful onboarding handoff.
  • Build authentic, trust-based relationships with facility owners, executives, and clinical and operational leaders, many of whom have personal experience with addiction and recovery.
  • Run a consultative sales process: diagnose each center's revenue cycle pain points and translate Assembly Health's RCM solutions into clear operational and financial impact.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the realities of behavioral health billing, payer mix, and treatment center operations.
  • Ensure prospects are thoroughly qualified and deals are constructed to achieve both client goals and company financial objectives.
  • Consistently meet or exceed targets while maintaining accurate updates and CRM hygiene.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, sharing market insight with product, operations, and leadership.
  • Represent Assembly Health at industry conferences and events within the behavioral health and addiction treatment community.
  • Other duties as assigned or required by the business

Benefits

  • Full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k)
  • paid time off
