About The Position

The Client Financial Specialist supports the financial integrity of services delivered at Columbia Community Mental Health (CCMH) by ensuring accurate billing, payer compliance, authorization tracking, and revenue reconciliation within the OCHIN Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR). This role focuses on post-registration processes and supports clinic-assigned Epic billing work queues across all stages of the revenue cycle. The Client Financial Specialist plays a key role in supporting CCMH’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model by ensuring services are billed correctly, revenue is captured appropriately, and billing processes support equitable access to care while maintaining compliance and strong internal controls.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare billing, revenue cycle, or financial operations experience.
  • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) or more years of directly related experience is preferred.
  • Epic or OCHIN Epic experience strongly preferred.
  • An associate’s degree or relevant coursework in healthcare, finance, or business is preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid/OHP, Medicare, or behavioral health billing is also preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of the position may be considered.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is an asset.
