The Client Financial Specialist Admin is responsible for establishing, reconciling, and maintaining consumer financial accounts, including paying bills, completing cash disbursements, tracking and monitoring account activity, and compiling documentation for audits.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Proof of auto insurance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison with banks to manage consumer accounts, complete Representative Payee paperwork, and coordinate with Social Security when needed.
  • Develop and adhere to individual monthly budgets, ensuring timely payment of consumer bills and maintenance of required account balances for benefits eligibility.
  • Monitor and maintain daily accounting records in the system, organize end-of-month financial records, reconcile accounts, and submit packets for audit.
  • Collect receipts, food stamp ledgers, and provide copies of reconciled accounts to supervisory staff and guardians.
  • Disburse funds for personal spending, deposit checks promptly, and maintain supplies like checks.
  • Prepare and compile financial documents required for Medicaid, Section 8, or other financial reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.
