About The Position

The Hill is seeking a Temporary Manager of Client Engagement responsible for project management and event logistics for its growing events portfolio. This position will report to the Director, Client Engagement and collaborate with a dynamic, dedicated team of events, sales and marketing professionals to execute a variety of in-person and virtual thought leadership events.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and experience creating client-facing materials
Strong understanding of Washington, DC, political/advocacy landscape and relationship management
3+ years’ experience with event management, public relations, advocacy, communications and/or marketing

Responsibilities

Serve as point of contact and project manager for a select portion of our live events portfolio
Develop and manage event operations, timelines and deliverables, communicating internally and externally with white glove service
Take ownership of all facets of bringing an event to life, including establishing processes that create a smooth client journey
Responsible for all event logistics, from RFPs to contracting venues to vendors for rentals, catering, security and other aspects of production
Coordinate internal meetings for events with a larger internal stakeholder group, as well as sends calendar holds for the team and executives for events
Traffic creative with internal teams, clients and venues for on–site event materials and supplies, such as signage, backdrops and sponsor materials
Manage on-site set up and production on day of event, from sponsor needs to vendor logistics
