Client Engagement Lead - US

Very LLC,
$145,000 - $175,000Remote

About The Position

Very is a fully distributed technology firm focused on creating efficient, scalable solutions for clients in the commercial, industrial, and consumer product sectors. The company prides itself on its collaborative culture, expert problem-solvers, and a commitment to helping clients achieve business-critical outcomes. Very has received recognition for its workplace culture, including Great Place to Work certification and acknowledgment from Parity.org. The firm works with well-known brands to leverage connected devices and AI for impactful results. This role is a distinct career track focused on the outcome of client engagements, separate from engineering and program management. It is a client-facing, commercially-minded position where the individual will own 1-3 active client relationships, ensuring value delivery, engagement profitability, and client growth. The role operates at a high billability (60-80%), directly contributing to client work while maintaining oversight of the engagement's overall health. The Engagement Lead sits at the intersection of client trust, technical delivery, and business development, requiring a blend of building and selling skills, with comfort in both writing Statements of Work and reviewing technical progress.
