Client Care Manager, Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency Centre
About The Position
The Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is recruiting for a full-time Team Lead for the Client Care team. This role will work closely with the hospital's leadership team to promote a positive hospital image and continuously work towards the betterment of the hospital. The successful candidate will support and direct the Client Care team in a professional and kind manner while recognizing the responsibilities involved in responding to client and co-worker questions. The C.A.R.E Centre is committed to supporting pet owners and the veterinary community by providing the highest level of animal emergency and referral care.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently on your own and with the team

- Veterinary Technician/Technologist scholarship (annual process for full time employees)
Responsibilities
- Training and orientation for new team members
- Creating an equitable schedule for the team
- Coordinating vacation coverage
- Cross training within the hospital departments
- Assist in performance management
- Involvement in patient treatments as necessary to support the ER team and overall hospital support
