About The Position

UBS is seeking transitioning members of the U.S. Armed Services who are approved for DOD SkillBridge to participate in a training assignment in the financial services industry. During the SkillBridge assignment, participants remain active service members and are not employees of UBS. The Client Associate will support a fast-growing Private Wealth Management Team located in UBS’s Newport Beach, California branch. The position focuses on client service, account support, meeting preparation, and team marketing and scheduling activities.

Requirements

• Must be a transitioning armed services member approved for DOD SkillBridge.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally, five years of experience in client service within the finance sector.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep management systems up to date with client information.
• Educate clients on account services and capabilities.
• Help prepare reports and other materials for client meetings.
• Collect documentation required to open new accounts and fulfill service requests.
• Plan team marketing events and maintain marketing materials.
• Provide the team with a detailed calendar of activities.
