About The Position

The Well, a liquor store in Wellsville, Kansas, is hiring a part-time Clerk for up to 25 hours per week. The clerk must be available to work any and all store hours, including weekends. Store hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The role involves providing friendly, professional customer service, assisting customers with purchases, operating the point-of-sale system, and helping manage store inventory and stock. The clerk must be able to lift heavy inventory boxes and restock 30-packs in the cooler.

Requirements

• Computer literacy.
• Cash-handling experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid state ID.
• Experience with inventory management.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Availability to work any and all store hours, including weekends, up to 25 hours per week.
• Ability to lift heavy inventory boxes and restock 30-packs in the cooler.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, staff, and service personnel visiting in person or calling the store in a professional, respectful, friendly, and engaging manner.
• Stay on task during busy shifts.
• Help customers make selections in an engaging and helpful manner.
• Check customers out at the counter using the POS system.
• Assist with inventory and rotate stock around the store.
• Lift heavy inventory boxes and restock 30-packs in the cooler.
