About The Position

Millennium Galvanizing is a proud member of the American Galvanizing Association. We operate with a lead free kettle using special High Grade Zinc that is supported by the most technologically advanced equipment in our industry. Millennium Galvanizing can also perform painting, metalizing and paint over bare blasted steel as well as paint over galvanized steel for sensitive areas of installation that require an aesthetically pleasing coating application.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Associate in Accounting preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Access, and Outlook and Excel Proficiency
  • Payroll timekeeping a plus
  • Customer Service Skills for face-to-face interactions; will greet front door customers.
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and balancing skills.
  • High proficiency with, keyboard typing, 10-key pad and numeracy skills.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate in Accounting preferred
  • Payroll timekeeping a plus

Responsibilities

  • Switch-board operation and reception
  • Data Entry includes but not limited to shipments and time-card entry and/or verifications.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Verify entries by comparing system reports to balances.
  • Ability to process and follow-up on rush items.
  • Maintains production payroll, timekeeping, & related functions.
  • Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications.
  • Collects and mails correspondence, copies information.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing requests.
  • Serves customers by acting as a receptionist.
  • Operates office machines, such as copiers, scanners, fax machines, and personal computers.
  • Answers telephones, directs calls, and takes messages.
  • Maintains and updates filing and mailings.
  • Communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, and disseminate or explain information.
  • Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; timekeeping; controlling correspondence.
  • Orders general office and cleaning supplies.
  • Review and Confirm orders related to plant supply orders and office supplies, cleaning supplies etc.
  • Special projects as requested.
