Clerk, Nursing - Casual To assist Assistant Director of Resident Care in auditing care plans and ensure consistency and completeness in accordance with the organization's resident centred approach, relevant government standards, residents' rights and the organizations mission, vision and philosophy.

Requirements

  • Currently enrollment in a RN program.
  • Completion of 2nd year RN program or above
  • Good and accurate data entry skills
  • Knowledge in computer software applications, such as Word and Excel
  • Detailed-oriented with good organization skill
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Satisfactory Police Reference Check (with vulnerable sector screen )result
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English

Nice To Haves

  • ability to speak Chinese will be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provides efficient and reliable clerical support to registered staff and nursing management, primarily in residents' documentation
  • Assists in auditing care plans to ensure consistency and completeness
  • Inputs and maintains accurate data, statistics and client information in accordance with the LTC Home requirement
  • Keeps up-to-date with development and best practices in the field
  • Other duties as assigned
