About The Position

The Clerk II will maintain basic file system(s), or assists in the maintenance of a large and difficult system. Responsibilities

  • Codes, classifies, posts and consolidates information required for reports, and reviews for required documents, affidavits, number of copies, etc.
  • Performs final checks for proper coding, classification, mathematical accuracy, research as necessary, and prepare related summaries and reports.
  • Handles public inquiries by phone, in writing, or in person, and subsequently searches various records, files, etc., to locate requested information. May make inquiries to clarify information.
  • Performs basic computer skills such as keyboarding, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the district.
