About The Position
Part-time Clerical Rehab Tech position available at a retirement community in Sleepy Hollow, NY. The schedule is Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule. The wage range is $18-$19 per hour. This role is key in supporting residents and ensuring the smooth operation of the therapy department. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service while building positive relationships with residents to enhance their therapy experience. Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Some experience preferred in the care and treatment of residents in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and follow the directions of licensed professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with therapy appointments
- Collect and maintain necessary documents for resident files
- Support resident transportation
- Cleaning the Rehab gym
- Perform general clerical tasks
- Answer telephone calls and handle inquiries
- Order and manage supplies
- Maintain cleanliness in designated areas
- Build strong rapport with residents to create a positive therapy experience
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the Program Manager
