About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Cleared Security Officer Front Desk in Longmont, Colorado, at an aerospace and defense location. The role provides a professional front-desk presence, customer service, access control, visitor and badge processing, and monitoring of entry activity. The officer helps deter security-related incidents and supports site security procedures and emergency response activities. The stated pay rate is $27.36 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Access control and badge experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide front-desk customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and guests.
Verify credentials, maintain visitor records, issue temporary access materials, and direct guests according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor entry activity and security-related systems, identify unusual activity, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to site procedures, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
