About The Position

As a part-time Cleared Security Officer in Boulder, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide customer service and communication. The position is scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at a pay rate of $28.96 per hour.

Applicants must have an active DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and visitor authorization according to site requirements.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive site information.
