About The Position

Amentum is seeking Cleared Entry Control Monitors to perform entry control actions at Offutt Air Force Base. The role includes monitoring breached areas of designated perimeters or fences at non-secured sites, locations, and entry control points. Monitors ensure only authorized personnel enter designated construction sites and secured zones by checking credentials according to government-provided procedures. The position may involve assisting with personnel and vehicle inspections, setting up traffic cones or similar portable equipment to direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and maintaining a daily 24-hour written log of personal electronic device violations and security events. Monitors provide completed shift logs to the CSM/SSM, summon emergency vehicles and crews when required, and may detain individuals using manual verbal manipulation techniques until Security Forces are notified. This is an in-the-field position. The stated compensation is $20.32 per hour. Requirements

Active Top Secret clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
State-issued driver’s license.
Trained or able to be trained in basic First Aid, CPR, and AED.
No current or pending criminal charges, misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, assault, or battery, or felony convictions.
Fluent ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to construct and write clear, concise, detailed reports.
Willingness to submit to periodic drug tests at the government’s request.
Willingness to undergo a physical examination to determine whether any conditions would interfere with full performance of duties.
Physical ability to perform frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, and jumping, and occasional running or sprinting.
Ability to hear ordinary conversation at 15 feet with either ear, with or without a hearing aid.
Constant mental alertness, planning and organizing skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Ensure only authorized personnel enter construction sites and secured zones by checking credentials using government-provided access control systems or procedures.
Deny entry to individuals who do not meet construction site access requirements.
Open and close construction site access control points according to the prime construction contractor schedule and applicable SSO Security Requirements.
When needed, assist the SSM or designee with personnel and vehicle inspections at designated locations or control points.
Set up or assist with vehicle inspection entry lanes using contractor-provided traffic cones or similar portable equipment to direct traffic safely.
Set up or assist with pedestrian access points using contractor-provided traffic cones or similar portable equipment.
Maintain a daily 24-hour written log of personal electronic device violations and security events, and provide it to the CSM/SSM after shift entries are completed.
Summon emergency vehicles and crews as required.
Detain individuals, within the stated limits of manual verbal manipulation techniques, while Security Forces are notified.
