About The Position

VersaFile Inc. is a Vancouver-based technology services and software company providing intelligent content and process automation solutions, including managed services, strategic consulting, implementations, and commercial software. To support client engagements across the UK and Europe, VersaFile is building a network of experienced technical contractors specializing in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), solution architecture, and platform migrations. Contractors may support technical presales, solution design, hands-on implementation, and migration delivery. This is a remote work-from-home role that can be performed anywhere in Europe, with preference for candidates able to work in European time zones. The engagement is as an independent contractor.

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise.
• Experience in enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with client and project teams.
• Experience with IBM FileNet, IBM Content Manager 8 (CM8), IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), or Helix-related platforms, tools, or technologies, depending on the area of expertise.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with content migrations and platform transitions.
• Ability to work in European time zones, as clients are based in the UK.
• Platform specialists without direct migration experience are also encouraged to connect.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design for IBM FileNet solutions.
• Support technical presales, client discovery, requirements analysis, and solution recommendations.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on FileNet configuration, development, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Support implementations, enhancements, and platform migrations.
• Support content migration planning, execution, and validation where applicable.
• Support client engagements involving Helix-related platforms, tools, or technologies.
