About The Position
KleenMark is hiring a Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness of a building in Appleton, Wisconsin. The position is part-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, totaling 10 hours per week, and pays $18.00. The role includes cleaning restrooms, floors, break rooms and kitchenettes, and other areas. Duties and hours may vary depending on the building and staffing, and tasks may change during employment. The position requires walking outside in the loading dock yard to reach three sets of bathrooms in the depot area. In winter, an indoor catwalk is available. The employee is expected to arrive on time, work extra hours when needed, follow required safety procedures, provide positive customer service, and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough. Requirements
- Able to walk outside in the loading dock yard to reach three sets of bathrooms in the depot area; an indoor catwalk is available in winter.
- Must comply with required safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform other floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as required.
- Clean and disinfect break room and kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, and other surfaces; replenish supplies.
- Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, and other surfaces.
- Empty wastebaskets and recycling containers and transport waste to the disposal area.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a hip or backpack vacuum cleaner.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
- Report to work on time and work extra hours when needed.
- Comply with required safety policies and procedures, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
- Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough.
