About The Position

Arthrex is actively searching for a Cleaning Tech I for our Pendleton, SC manufacturing location on Day Shift (Monday through Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm). Main Objective: To clean products following Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. processes and procedures ensuring superior quality is delivered to internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing experience related to assembly, cleaning and/or passivation and/or preferred
  • The ability to perform written tasks by reading, understanding and following work instructions provided
  • Use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required
  • Ability to work independently when necessary
  • Proper use of Good Documentation Practice (GMP)
  • Comprehension is required to perform the following operations / tasks; Crest COC9, Crest Ultrasonic parts washers, DURR Ecocore parts washer and the occasional operation of the specific equipment as trained and assigned
  • Must have the ability to follow written, verbal, or packaging instructions; several concrete variables.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performs In-Process Cleaning and Passivation of products and components in accordance of work instructions
  • Performs terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping utilizing various cleaning and disinfecting agents
  • Performs manual device assembly
  • Completes necessary documentation with accuracy and minimal errors
  • Follows and executes work instructions with minimal errors
  • Notifies Crew Coordinator or Supervisor of and safety or production issues
