Cleaning Supervisor
About The Position
At Dexterra, the Cleaning Supervisor creates exceptional customer experiences by supervising the cleaning and services of an assigned area. Reporting to the Manager, this role works within the required budget to maintain company and customer quality standards. The position includes assigning and monitoring employees’ work, supporting training and health and safety procedures, maintaining timekeeping records, responding to customer requests, and overseeing inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program. Flexible start and end times may be needed, and weekend and statutory holiday work are required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cleaning and supervisory experience in a mall facility.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Flexible start and end times as needed.
- Weekend and statutory holiday work are required.
- A clear criminal background check is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with controlling budgeted hours for the assigned location.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
- Inspect work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets expected levels.
- Assist with site training of new cleaning personnel.
- Train employees on Health & Safety procedures and ensure safety devices and PPE are available and properly used.
- Maintain timekeeping records for cleaning personnel.
- Respond to customer requests and ensure follow-up.
- Manage inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program.
