About The Position

At Dexterra, the Cleaning Supervisor helps create exceptional customer experiences by supervising cleaning services in an assigned area. Reporting to the Manager, this role oversees work within the required budget and maintains company and customer quality standards. The position includes assigning and inspecting work, supporting staff training, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, maintaining records and inventory, and responding to customer requests.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of cleaning and supervisory experience in a mall facility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexible start and end times as needed.
• Weekend and statutory holiday work is required.
• A clear criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with controlling budgeted hours for the assigned location.
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspect work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets expected levels.
• Assist with site training of new cleaning personnel.
• Train employees on Health & Safety procedures and ensure safety devices and PPE are available and properly used.
• Maintain timekeeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow-up.
• Manage inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program.
