About The Position

The Cleaning Staff is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the agency’s facilities by completing assigned routine daily cleaning activities. The role supports the company’s philosophy and mission. Staff may be assigned to other agency worksites for backup coverage or as part of a regular rotation of shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safety guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, empty garbage containers, clean breakrooms and kitchens, sweep and mop floors, dust and clean glass surfaces, vacuum, clean restrooms, and clean other assigned areas on a daily basis and as needed.
• Meet regularly with the Facilities Manager to review the status of ongoing department activities and facility needs.
• Identify facility needs and communicate concerns to the supervisor, including supply needs.
• Maintain open communication about job activities and work locations.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and observe safe work practices when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Use safety signs and other necessary precautions to maintain safe working conditions.
• Provide backup coverage or work at other agency sites as assigned, including through a regular shift rotation.
