About The Position

Sparkle Freshness is seeking motivated Cleaning Specialists to provide industrial and commercial cleaning services for businesses throughout California. The company uses environmentally safe, all-natural cleaning practices and emphasizes personalized service, employee support, growth, and customer satisfaction. This physically demanding position involves cleaning one or more locations and may include additional hours at nearby sites. Work begins in the late evening and ends after midnight, with shifts generally lasting four to six hours. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be available for at least 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule for assignment Sunday through Saturday. Regular days off will be discussed during the interview. The position offers full-time or part-time employment, with expected hours of 15–20 per week and the opportunity for up to 30 hours based on company needs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have one year of experience with the job title Cleaner, Janitorial, or Custodian.
Be able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Have reliable transportation to and from one or more work locations.
Be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week and have a flexible schedule for scheduling Sunday through Saturday.
Have good physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting heavy objects when required.
Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment, trash, and cleaning supplies weighing up to 35 pounds.
Have strong English communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice To Haves

Recent commercial cleaning experience.
Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform industrial and commercial cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms.
Perform floor care, including vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor buffing.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
Follow Sparkle Freshness safety protocols and guidelines.
