About The Position
The Cleaning Operations Manager oversees day-to-day cleaning operations for a company providing professional facility cleaning. The role ensures high-quality service delivery, efficient team performance, and customer service across commercial, industrial, and medical sites.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility operations; management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety practices, and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule cleaning crews across commercial, industrial, and medical sites.
- Develop written Work Instructions and Standards for staff to follow.
- Maintain quality standards, safety protocols, and client specifications.
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate cleaning staff and supervisors.
- Coordinate with the evening supervisor.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and inventory, and control costs.
- Handle client communication and service issues, and conduct on-site quality checks.
- Track performance metrics, productivity, and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement of cleaning processes and procedures.
