About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Cleaning Attendant at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. The Cleaning Attendant helps promote a positive guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized. Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack features more than 1,500 video gaming machines, live thoroughbred racing from April to November, year-round simulcast wagering, and dining options including a large buffet.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in floor care, including scrubbing, stripping, and waxing, specifically using a side-by-side floor scrubber.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Ability to follow directions and work quickly under pressure.
• Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction calculations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms while maintaining sanitation guidelines.
• Perform floor care, including scrubbing, stripping, and waxing, using a side-by-side floor scrubber.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish restroom supplies according to housekeeping procedures.
• Conduct walk-arounds of assigned areas to ensure the facility meets housekeeping standards.
• Turn in and log all lost-and-found items daily.
• Keep housekeeping areas neat, clean, and organized.
