About The Position

Clean Team Inc. is hiring a dependable part-time Day Porter in Columbus, Ohio, to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, approximately 20 hours per week, with no weekend shifts. The role involves working around employees, customers, and visitors, so professionalism, courtesy, dependability, and attention to detail are important. Previous commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required; paid training is provided.

Requirements

Dependable and punctual.
Available consistently Monday through Friday; the posting states 1:30 PM–4:30 PM in the candidate qualifications, although the listed schedule is 5:00 PM–9:00 PM.
Professional and courteous.
Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
Comfortable working independently.
Able to work effectively around customers and facility employees.
Able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Able to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
Willing to learn the company’s cleaning and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
Monitor high-traffic areas throughout the shift.
Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and rugs.
Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Empty trash and recycling containers.
Restock paper products, soap, and other facility supplies.
Address spills and other cleaning needs as they arise.
Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized.
Follow established cleaning procedures and company safety guidelines.
Report low supplies, maintenance concerns, or facility issues to a supervisor.
Maintain a professional presence while working around customers, employees, and visitors.
