About The Position

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, loss-prevention, safety, and cleanliness standards, and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is part time and located at Marshalls Store 0871 in Meridian, Idaho. Starting pay is $14.00 to $14.50 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while following customer experience principles and practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
