About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will be part of the frontline team providing commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations. The work focuses on standard custodial and janitorial tasks, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Applicants must pass a drug test.

Requirements

• Must pass a drug test.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Be willing to take direction from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and use proper personal protective equipment.
• Perform work assignments as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and rules; take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and contribute to customer service and satisfaction.
• Vacuum and edge floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
