About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a part-time Cleaner at its Fishtown club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Cleaner helps provide members with a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment. The position starts at $12 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date. The role requires availability from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is listed as a first-shift position.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling are required.
• Continual standing and walking during the shift are required.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift are required.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift is required.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily cleaning checklist and ensure all tasks are finished.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and the gym floor.
• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, shower facilities, and locker areas.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Stock supplies throughout the club and in locker rooms.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment, including toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment, to the Club Manager.
