About The Position

The Cleaner keeps assigned areas, such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, or institutional buildings, clean and orderly. The role involves working successfully with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization; following verbal and written instructions; and explaining how to complete tasks using basic communication skills. The position works weekends only, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The hourly pay range is $16.00 to $18.00. No previous cleaning experience is required. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and, where applicable, drug and/or alcohol screening in accordance with applicable laws and company requirements. Employees must follow Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures, participate in HSEQ training, report potential hazards or compliance concerns, and maintain environmental responsibility and quality standards. Requirements

No previous cleaning experience is required.
Understand and comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Follow verbal and written instructions and explain task completion using basic communication skills.
Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Frequently lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift 0–10 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Work under pressure and meet time deadlines during peak periods.

Responsibilities

Keep assigned areas clean and orderly.
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and use proper personal protective equipment.
Perform work assignments as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
Follow company procedures, policies, and rules; take direction and respond to supervision.
Communicate professionally with the lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers.
Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and contribute to customer satisfaction and trust.
Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
Vacuum and edge floors.
Dust surfaces.
Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
Clean windows.
Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
Sweep and mop floors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Adhere to HSEQ policies and procedures, participate in HSEQ training, and report potential hazards or compliance concerns.
