About The Position

Cleaners keep assigned areas, such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, or institutional buildings, clean and orderly. The role involves working successfully with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization; following verbal and written instructions; and explaining how to complete tasks using basic communication skills. The position requires a commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer service. Employees follow company and HSEQ policies and procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, maintain a professional appearance and conduct, communicate professionally, and support the cleaning lead by helping complete punch-list items and filling in during staffing shortages. Employees must participate in HSEQ training and report potential hazards or compliance concerns. The work schedule is Monday through Friday plus weekends, within the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The hourly pay range is $16.50 to $17.50. No previous cleaning experience is required. Employment may be contingent on successful completion of a background check and, where applicable, drug and/or alcohol screening in accordance with applicable laws and company requirements.

Requirements

Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Be able to work under pressure and meet time deadlines during peak periods.
Frequently lift 0–25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Vacuum and edge floors.
Dust assigned areas.
Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
Clean windows.
Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
Sweep and mop floors.
Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures and use proper personal protective equipment.
Work as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
Follow company procedures, policies, and rules; take direction and respond to supervision.
Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct and support guest experience and customer satisfaction.
Participate in HSEQ training and report potential hazards or compliance concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
