About The Position

Support the day to day operations of the Service department and Parts department through various tasks and processes. The Service & Parts Operations Coordinator will serve as a backup in the absence of the Service Department Manager. They will assist the Operations Manager in multiple capacities to ensure exceptional customer service, positive teamwork for both departments and continued improvements to processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of commercial laundry machines and technology systems used by customers and owners (operators).
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics desired.
  • Ability to multitask, good organization and time management skills.
  • Reliable/dependable
  • Attention to detail partnered with a sense of urgency
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Safety oriented
  • Able to work independently or with a team; flexible.
  • Previous experience in HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical industry required.
  • Valid in-state Driver’s License required with an approved Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

  • AA or Technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations and Service Manager through filling in daily to close any gaps in serving customers, answering phone calls, and processing any items that are needed.
  • Work with Service department employees to ensure technicians have parts, tools and accessories needed, partner with Service Manager to stay up to date on customer inquiries and potential concerns and collaborate with technical support to understand recent errors/system concerns to make note for multiple calls.
  • Backfill the role of Service Manager in the event of their absence.
  • Maintain connection to Parts department to stay in tune to customer service, parts and warehouse organization and scheduling needs.
  • Consistently communicate with Operations Manager on upcoming projects, short- and long-term goals and maintenance of fleet and machines that can be done in house.
  • Provide technical support either on the phone or by reporting to customer locations to repair, maintain or replace commercial laundry equipment.
  • Train and mentor new Service Technicians and all Service personnel on the various equipment, brands and troubleshooting process while on a Service call.
  • Maintain records and compliance for forklift training and certification.
  • Monitor warehouse traffic, truck deliveries, and organization of warehouse including general housekeeping and safety protocols.
  • Maintain an organized company vehicle.
  • Communicate with customers to find solutions to their respective service and installation needs.
  • Drives a CLD company vehicle as an essential function of the job.
  • Maintain an excellent driving record.
  • Travel occasionally up to 25% of the time
