Classroom Teaching Aide
About The Position
The Preschool Classroom Teaching Aide works in a supportive, team-oriented Head Start early learning program with children ages 0 to 5. The position helps create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom, supports daily learning activities and child development, and collaborates with experienced educators. Aides may rotate through different classrooms to gain exposure to varied teaching styles and approaches. This posting includes multiple openings, including floating and non-floating positions, and the work location may differ from the one posted. The role pays $18.17 per hour and is full-time.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Willingness to enroll in the agency's CDA program upon hire and complete it within one year.
- Ability to follow directions and communicate in English.
