About The Position

The Classroom Teaching Aide supports a Head Start early learning program serving children ages 0 to 5. The role helps create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom, supports daily learning activities and child development, and collaborates with experienced educators. Aides may rotate through different classrooms to experience a variety of teaching styles and approaches. The posting includes multiple openings, including floating and non-floating positions, and the work location may differ from the one posted. The position is full-time and pays $18.17 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Willingness to enroll in the agency’s CDA program upon hire and complete it within one year.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities
