About The Position

The Classroom Coordinator will lead fun, meaningful PE activities that help students with autism improve fitness, build confidence, and achieve personal goals. This role involves planning and leading adaptive physical education activities, assessing student abilities, developing lessons, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, and tracking student progress. The King's Daughters' School promotes independence through educational, residential and community services for individuals with developmental disabilities, continuing a 100-year legacy of service. Our Vision is to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through caring, goal-oriented service delivered by dedicated staff in a safe, warm learning environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (any field)
Valid Driver's license required
Physical stamina (you'll be active, not stuck in a chair)
Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients
Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hire

Nice To Haves

Some background with developmental disabilities is preferred, but training is available for the right person.
Bonus points if Bachelor's degree field matches your focus area.

Responsibilities

Track student progress, maintain required documentation, and collaborate with staff and families to support student growth.
