About The Position
The Classroom Aide/One to One Aide works with the Center Based Special Education Teacher to support the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom. The role includes organizing, implementing, and teaching developmental skills to students ages three to five. The position reports to the Special Education Teacher. Openings are listed in Goshen, Wappinger, Sugar Loaf, and Ulster County, New York.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or HSE.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in preschool, childcare, early childhood education, or elementary school.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Driver’s license.
- NYS Teacher Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Center Based Special Education Teacher with the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom environment.
- Organize, implement, and teach developmental skills to students ages three to five.
